ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The University of Central Florida will begin to vaccinate thousands of students with COVID-19 shots on Wednesday.
The university will vaccinate 6,000 students with Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine.
The shots will be administered at the student union building Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

As of Wednesday morning, all appointments were booked.
Students told Channel 9 that they are all for it.

“I think it’s good for us, the students,” said Javier Herrera. “We want to go back to normal, and I plan to get vaccinated as soon as I can.”
Since January, UCF has administered more than 3,300 COVID-19 vaccinations to students and employees 65 and older, those working in health care, employees of the university and others eligible under state guidelines.
